Aikido Saturday Afternoon - 8/9/14

Aikido players:  Tim, Trey, Mario, and John

Ukemi:

Got a full set in, but I had a massive failure setting up for one of my regular falls.  I plotzed face first and wrenched my shoulder.

The Walk:

Not today.

Releases:

Worked with John on his set

Techniques:

We worked on simulating getting attacked by a baseball bat and how to deal with that situation.  It's a tough one to deal with.

We also had a bit of a blow up between trey and Mario.  Mainly a misunderstanding between teacher and student that, hopefully, will not recur.

Aftermath:

 My shoulder is going to be iffy for a while.
