Aikido Saturday Afternoon- 8/16/14

Mario had me as his uke

Techniques:

The goal was to get Mario through all of his techniques.  The reality: we got through the first two techniques.

We spent a lot of time with body rise/body fall while he took me in a circle.  We broke out the Shinai for a little bit.  After he avoided it for a few attacks, I then left the shinai out to one side of the mat and had him take me off balance and then reach the shinai before I did.

Then I compressed those step and had him think about reaching the shinai before I did, but do a hip switch and throw me with Gyaku gamae ate instead.

Aftermath:

I was beat at the end of the session.
