FenCon con report- weekend update

Took a trip last weekend up to Addison for FenCon

Friday:

Up at 4:45 a.m. to get on the road.
On the road, and equipped by Shipley's by 5:30 a.m.
Got in to town and stopped by the DoubleTree for the Dallas Pen Show.  Wandered around that with Rhonda Eudaly.
Arrived at FenCon and started to help Jimmy with the Art Show.
Dinner at a Mexican joint a little further North.

Saturday:

Breakfast at Kuby's, near the SMU campus.
Attempted to find a geocache, but had no luck.
Back to the con for more work on the Art Show
A&M game, watched the first half
Art Auction - pizza from Papa John's
Did a cursory tour of the parties: got grabbed by KC in 2016 and asked to run or advise their Art Show

Sunday:

Breakfast at Pete's Cafe
Back to the Art Show to help check out and tear down.
Drive back home, kept the speed around 85 for most of the trip and was not the fastest vehicle around.
