Techniques:

We brought out the padded swords for some drills on getting off-line. We then played with an approach Trey came up with to have tori stick the sword under their arm and attempt to get the off-balance for shomen-ate using only that sword.

While Tim and Trey were working with Gail, I had Marvin and Dan throw me with shomen-ate repeatedly.

At the end of the afternoon, Tim brought ought the jo. Trey and I got to work on defensive and offensive jo techniques for a bit
